Beginner's Guide to Delay Sprays

A delay spray uses a mild topical anaesthetic to temporarily reduce sensitivity and extend session duration. Here is what to know before first use:

• Apply 10–15 minutes before activity — spray onto the head and shaft, massage gently, and wait 10–15 minutes for the numbing effect to develop before activity
• Use 2–3 sprays maximum on first use — start with a small dose; more product does not linearly increase duration and can cause excessive numbness
• Allow absorption before putting on a condom — if using a condom, let the spray absorb for the full waiting period first; a condom over wet spray reduces effectiveness and can transfer to a partner
• Wipe off excess before skin-to-skin contact — residual spray can desensitize a partner; use a clean dry cloth to wipe the surface before unprotected contact
• Store at room temperature, away from sunlight — heat degrades the active compound; keep in a cool dry place — do not store in a hot car or bathroom
• Do not use on broken or irritated skin — apply only to intact healthy skin; do not use if your skin is razor-burned, chafed, or irritated
